Trees Are Key

What’s the Problem?

Greenhouse gases are essentially gases that allow sunlight into the atmosphere but do not let them out. The sunlight being trapped through these gases will at a large scale lead to the earth becoming warmer which is also known as global warming.

Why Is This Important?

The largest greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is released into the atmosphere every time a human or creature breathes. With the current large population on earth combined with the excess of deforestation, there has become a surplus of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

How can YOU Help?

To help out with reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, you help plant trees! Plants use photosynthesis which takes in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and releases oxygen. Tree saplings and other plants are accessible all around the world and can be planted anywhere from your local park to your own backyard!
